TORONTO NATURAL HAIR AND BEAUTY SHOW

This past weekend I had the pleasure of attending the TORONTO NATURAL HAIR AND BEAUTY SHOW. It was amazing!!. It is such a beautiful thing to see so many naturals in one place empowering, embrace and inspiring eachother. There was something to learn, something to see and something to buy from products to jewellery. The show included workshops, a live Natural Hair Show, and traditional African Dancing..We even ran into an Avatar!!...Enjoy!!

Findings...

Dey Fashion Accessories....I came across this Beautiful Natural named Seinad Ibrahim. She has some of the most beautiful handmade pieces . Although she does not sell individual pieces, you can contact her to find out which stores carry her pieces. The necklace I purchased from Dey. The bracelets are from Twist and curls salon based out of Hartford, CT. ( I will post both ladies contact in the business section). I love the packaging from Dey Fashion and Accessories!!!

 

Sister Locks....

Founder of sisterlocks to your right. Her dreads were extremely neat and stylish.

I had a brief conversation with this lovely lady and she informed me that to maintain this look required patience, and frequent hair visits to the hairdresser. Her locks was considered medium and they do come in a smaller strands than these. This is beautiful!!

                 This little girl was too cute and her hair was so fly!!.  What I loved was her confidence
