I DID MY HUIRRRRRRRR!!!!

This is the goofy side of me but after two weeks of my hands in my hair I decided to do a weave. I want it out my hair, because I miss my hair so much but what a waste of money that would be right? I have never missed my hair that much until now, that's to show you am really enjoying my journey.

Here are a few shots of what I did now. It's two packs here and I recently added a third to give it body. It's about a 14 inch, and 10 inch so it's layered almost but I love the way it looks.

hope you guys like

Natural hair rememdies for an itchy scalp

via: source unknown

Lavender oil, eucalyptus oil, avocado oil and German chamomile oil are excellent natural home remedies for Itchy Scalp. Mix these oils in equal proportions and, add some water and finally apply the resultant mixture to heal Itchy Scalp in a natural way.

Olive oil, margosa oil, coconut oil and tea tree oil is also beneficial in Itchy Scalp home treatment.

olive oil and almond oil is also another great natural home remedy for dandruff.

chamoomile tea and sprigs or rosemary
-boil 3 chamomile bags and the sprigs of rosemary, cool and strain, rinse the har with the solution.
-you can also use crushed rosemary

Lemon juice is also considered good for hair.
-rubbing some lemon juice on the scalp and rinsing the hair after a few minutes is one of the most effective Itchy Scalp home remedies.

Peppermint oil
-Add two drops of peppermint oil in a cup of water and massage the scalp gently with this solution for a few minutes. Finally, wash the hair to relieve Itchy Scalp due to dryness.

Jojoba oil
-warm jojoba oil is useful in moisturizing the scalp and hence easing and soothing Itchy Scalp due to dryness

Aloe vera gel
-Applying aloe vera gel on the scalp for about ten to fifteen minutes and then washing it off

Apple cider vinegar
- mix one part of apple cider vinegar in four parts of cool water, some use warm water ( I perfer cool water).
This method works condiserably to reduce Itchy scalp.

Glycerine Scalp Cleansing Mix
-mix 2 tbsp of glyverine, 2 tblsp of vinegar preferably apple cider vinegar, 2 tbsp of almond oil and 2 tbsp of coconut oil and 1 egg. Mix the ingredients together.
-apply the mixture to your scalp, let it sit for 15-20 minutes rinse
- you can do this treatments once a week depending on your product build-up

Tea Tree Oil and Olive Oil Mix
Tea tree is great for the dandruff as an antiseptic
- mix 3/4 cup of water, 2 tbsp of tea tree oil, 2tbsp of olive oil, stir the mix together well
-apply the mix to your scalp, and let it sit for 15 minutes
-rinse off with a mild shampoo

I hope these are helpful for many of you. I do use some of these my self and they seem to work well, more frequently Apple cider vinegar as it leaves my hair bouncy, clean and with a great shine.

Why is my naural hair so itchy?

I have not had this problem for a long time. I find that with some weaves I do wear I have to make sure that I really clarify my scalp and use as little product but always use leave-ins, drink lots of water. My hair gets really dry with weave, so I have made it a conscious effort to wear them sparingly.

After two weeks of my hands in my hair because am so in love with it, I did decided to put in a weave and I know about the whole natural thing and whether or not we should be wearing weave. I will say that I will always continue to wear weave, I guess until my natural hair gets so long its nearly impossible. I love hair, I love experimenting and that's why I do hair so for me to say I wont do it well, that wouldnt be much fun.

So why is your natural hair so inchy?

There are a few reasons why your hair might be driving you insane.

- the use of sodium lauryl (SLS) in most shampoos which give shampoos the added foam
- non washed hair
- dry scalp skin
- dandruff
- scalp
- hair dye allergy
- lichen planopilaris

There are so many reasons that I could get into medically but we will just discuss the general inchy scalp from having dry scalp, build-up and weaves.

I cannot stress how much you must drink lots of water, please drink lots of water it is good for your skin, scalp, hair and body. It all works hand it hand, a healthy body will help your hair grow healthy. Make sure to clarify your scalp, I use apple cider vinegar but there are many natural remedies you can use to remove build-up. I mix my shampoo with my conditioner so I make sure to always clarify. Shampoos generally strip your hair, and conditioner puts back the moisture. For me this works wonders.

When I have my weaves in I have been told that glycerin works well for the scalp, I have not used glycerin before but this method comes from a weave guru who specializes in weaves. It might be helpful for you.

Itchy scalp is the result of the scalp's natural defense system decline. The scalp may become sensitive due to weaves, product allergies, scalp irritation, medical factors & buildup which causes irritation and itchy scalp. You have to be careful with the products you use which may irritate your scalp. I opt for natural products and my home made products which works for me. Simply put you know exactly what your are using and what you put in the products you make, so I prefer to make most of mine. You want to make sure that you take care of an itchy or irritated scalp right way because it can lead to dandruff, affect your sleep, disturb you through the day and affect your overall health of your scalp and hair. Avoid scratching your scalp and make sure your nails and hands are clean if you touch your hair and scalp.

What to avoid?

-Avoid alcohol and caffeine
-Increase your protein intake
-Avoid fatty acids
-Use a anti-fungal shampoo if the problem is severe
-Use a right ph balanced shampoo between 4.5 and 5.5***This may be the main reason for most naturals for irritated scalp.

For more on ph balance please Click Here for article

If you have any questions, feedback please leave your comments below. I try my best to answer all of them.
I will post a list of natural home rememdies for itchy scalp later on today.

I am loving pattern tights, for me it's all about the fun in wearing different patterns. I remember growing up I hated stockings, tights, anything that would be stuck on to me. I guess I grew out of it because am loving this new trend. It's funny I have been doing this for over two years now. Am so glad to see it caught on, so it isnt just me in love with the different.

Fashion 101: Colour Blocking & Fashion Forward

I have been colouring blocking for as long as I can remember. I dislike matching my colours and wearing colours from head to toe that match forexample red top, red shoes, red bag YUCK I just cant do it. I dont even know if I ever even match my shoes with tops. I love wearing colours, so I might wear about several colours at a time. You have to be so careful with colour blocking because done wrong it can look tacky. Here are some great ideas to bring you into Spring.

Oh how I love this next look, so stunning and breath taking. Very tribal look

OMG! give me now!

This brings out the girlie side of things I LOVE.
                                    lecoil:

Well played, Kate Spade, well played.

I want to start taking pics of what I wear, am always getting compliments but my camera is not the best. I am making it my goal to save up and get a great one. Going back to school my budget is limited but I can spare a few for a great camera.

If you have any suggestions for a camera please let me know.

This next colour blocking is from a Toronto blog who always has fun with her clothes. Doreenblessed: youtube name.

This has to be one of my favourite colouring blocking looks, she does it so well and beautiful definitely a look I would love to rock.

How stunnng is this, this is exactly how I love to dress, colours and more colours. Its so great, am excited. I know I get really excited for fashion, for clothes, vintage, anything I love it all, even better when it's done right.

Rule to Colour Blocking

1. Don't afraid to clash

Rules dont apply here, combine colours you usually would not dare to wear together. It can be done

2. Keep it in the same colour circle/family

It's great to contrast with pinks and purples but add some lime green and you've got magic. Again done right!

3. Be confident

If you wear it, own it and walk it confident. Your already bright so own it, be confident

4. Keep it simple, though colour blocking is fun. A simple look of blended colours works better than prints and paterns of all sorts almost 80% of the time.

This is a perfect wheel to help anyone colour blocking and having trouble doing it. It should be effortless but that would be wrong because for some it actually is precise decisions on what they wear.
